What Our Clients Say about Us
“New England Legal Search has provided consistent support over the years helping me, most recently, build a 12 person,top-notch legal department at a rapidly growing and dynamic biopharmaceutical company. Linda’s team of experienced professionals has an exhaustive network of highly qualified and endearing candidates, particularly in the metro-Boston area. New England Legal Search, and Neil Paterson in particular, prioritized getting to know me and members of my team allowing him to be particularly adept at providing a good “fit” for my organization.
Moreover, New England Legal Search was invaluable in helping me make the transition from a large, downtown firm to an in-house, corporate position. Their warmth of personality and rigorous diligence were an initial draw for me from the outset. Throughout the process, they provided an effective and outcome focused strategy, coupling a high level of expertise with a vast pool of resources. Their defining trait, however, is the sincere and genuine advice that they provide, with my goals as their highest priority”

Our longstanding reputation for superior client satisfaction is based on our extensive knowledge of the legal market in New England and our continued commitment to understand and meet our clients’ objectives. Our goal is to guide both employers and candidates to a long-term and mutually beneficial employment relationship.
I have worked with New England Legal Search and Linda Kline extensively both as a candidate and as a client. The entire team is wonderful to work with. They truly care and are invested in helping the candidate and the company find the best match. Linda is very intuitive about people and plays the role of psychologist along the bumpy journey of job placement. She gets how important these decisions are for people and is a great resource during a search and throughout an attorney's career.
In my experience many recruiters can bring candidates that fit the job description but very few can find candidates that combine the base level talent needed for the job with the fit and culture match that Linda provides. I trusted NE Legal Search with my most important searches and Linda delivered candidates who were not only qualified but truly a good fit with me, the Company and the team. I recommend Linda for her excellent personalized service and hands on approach.

I have worked with New England Legal Search, and known Linda Kline, for well over 20 years. I have nothing but good thoughts and good words. First, on two occasions, when I needed a job, Linda and her team were able to place me. Second, and more recently, Linda and her team have found me excellent candidates that I have hired and been delighted with the results. In the last search, I worked with Sarah Wickham who did a wonderful job for us in a difficult search. I have tremendous confidence in New England Legal Search. In fact, I am going to contact Linda today to ask her assistance for a new position for which I am recruiting.
If you need help finding just exactly the right candidate to fill an important slot in your busy legal department, look no further: New England Legal Search has the best legal recruiting team you will find. They are business savvy, easy to work with, deeply knowledgeable about legal practice in all its dimensions, responsive, efficient, and uniquely sensitive to the delicacies of identifying the right “fit” between candidate and workplace. I highly recommend them.
New England Legal Search recently helped me make a career change moving from a large national firm to a small boutique firm in Boston. From the beginning it was clear that Sarah Wickham and New England Legal Search were attentive to my goals and needs, putting me in the best position to move forward with my legal career. Sarah and the staff at New England Legal Search were helpful in providing not just candid advice and opinions but also helping me develop a comprehensive strategy to get where I wanted to be in my career.
I have worked with Linda Kline and New England Legal Search for over twenty years. I have always found Linda very easy to work with and fun. She goes to great lengths and does a great job getting to know who we are, what our needs are and introducing us to candidates who will do well in our firm. She is a headhunter that I trust, without reservation. She is candid, honorable, and has a great reputation. I would recommend Linda Kline and New England Legal Search without reservation.
New England Legal Search helped place me at Thermo Electron in 1990 and I became the General Counsel in 1992. They are the first people I call whenever I need a search firm for legal staffing. Over the years, New England Legal Search has worked closely with me to understand the dynamics of our department and has helped me to bring together a fantastic in-house team.
I've worked with New England Legal Search extensively, both as a candidate and as a client. As a group, they are superb in all respects—they know the market, they know the available talent, and they work hard to match the right candidate to the opportunity. Linda Kline in particular is an exemplary professional. She is smart, honest, and most importantly, she never tries to fit a square peg into a round hole; by this I mean that she strives to understand both the culture of the employer as well as the personality of the candidate. Linda is interested in the long term result—will the match work—rather than the short term opportunity of filling a job opening. She is terrific by any measure.
New England Legal Search helped me in evaluating two significant career changes—first, a move from a small boutique firm to a large downtown firm and, several years later, a move to an in-house position. In each case, they were helpful and responsive in answering my questions and providing me with both honest advice and all of the information I needed to reach a decision. At the same time, they never pressured me into making any decision. I consider them a valuable and trusted resource.
I've worked with New England Legal Search for over twenty years and consider them to be head and shoulders above the legal recruiters I've worked with in the past. Their knowledge of Hasbro and their insight into the personalities of the candidates they present is exceptional. They are always accessible and do an excellent job of screening candidates who will fit into our organization. I recommend them without qualification.
I first worked with New England Legal Search when I was a junior associate with a major Boston law firm, looking to change the direction of my career. Understanding my desire to develop a practice, they found the right small firm opportunity for me. As my business grew, I recognized the need to move to a larger firm where I could better service my clients. Once again, New England Legal Search helped identify the right opportunity for me and placed me at Hutchins, Wheeler & Dittmar and then helped me move to Mintz, Levin. I am now chair of the real estate and telecommunications groups at Prince, Lobel and I continue to rely on New England Legal Search to help me recruit top lawyers for my firm.
