Premier NYSE investment management company seeks 10+ year lawyer for a newly-created, strategic role as VP of Human Resources to serve as a key driver of corporate culture and oversee day-to-day HR functions and professionals. This attorney will partner with colleagues across the organization, including senior management, and lead material, corporate-wide HR functions (domestic and global). Responsibilities include the design and implementation of innovative, market-leading HR initiatives such as DEI, employee engagement, development, recruitment and retention efforts. This lawyer will also oversee day-to-day HR functions, which, depending on applicable experience, may include staff mentoring, training, and development, benefits and leave administration, hiring and termination processes, compensation structuring, payroll and budgetary matters, standard audits and regulatory filings, and contract negotiation. Previous experience with HR, employment counseling or litigation, benefits, or executive compensation matters, or in law firm administration a plus but not required.
