Boston-area NASDAQ biopharmaceutical company is building its legal team and seeking a 7+ year attorney for a newly-created role to help lead its compliance program and advise on regulatory and commercial legal matters (including brand teams and product review committee activities). Reporting to the General Counsel, this attorney will play an integral role in further developing and expanding the compliance program, serving as a subject matter expert in areas of healthcare fraud and abuse, privacy, and transparency reporting laws, as well as industry codes (FDCA, FCA, Sunshine Act, Anti-kickback, PhRMA Code and state transparency laws), pharmaceutical marketing regulations and serve as chair of the PRC. This attorney will work closely with business and product team members, as well as field sales, medical directors, market access teams and external stakeholders.
