Fiduciary Trust Company, a premier and well established, privately held wealth management firm has partnered with New England Legal Search in its search for a VP, Trust Counsel for its New England affiliate located in Manchester, New Hampshire. Working closely with the General Counsel, President and Account Officers, this attorney will take a leadership role in supporting the company’s rapidly growing New Hampshire trust business. This position will report to the Chief Fiduciary Officer and collaborate with the Trusts & Estates legal team in Boston to ensure consistent delivery of fiduciary services company wide. Responsibilities will include providing advice on all matters related to fiduciary laws and trust administration, document review in connection with new trust opportunities, estate planning and client service support for existing clients, and legal support in connection with corporate and compliance opportunities. Qualified candidates should have 8+ years of experience as a trusts and estates attorney and/or in-house fiduciary counsel working with high and ultra-high net worth clients. This is an outstanding opportunity to join a highly collegial team and play a key role in new business development initiatives. The position is located in the company’s Manchester, NH office and offers a hybrid work arrangement.
